#SCHUBERT STANDCHEN PIANO DUET BERRIDGE FULL#
The arrangement just goes on and on as you look at the full score below. Then the theme carries on and is taken over by the 1st Violins, Bassoon 1, and Soprano Sax. In this Arrangement, the Melody/Theme will start off with the 1st Clarinet, followed by accompanying Flutes, Oboes, and 2nd Clarinet. This is an Orchestra Arrangement that I’ve made, almost similar to Franz Liszt’s Arrangement (within the Oboe Solo towards the end). There are currently thousands of ensemble instrumental arrangements of this piece that I can think of, but did you know that Schubert ACTUALLY wrote this piece ORIGINALLY for Solo Tenor Voice & Piano ? I always LOVE listening to this piece, so why not we all play it together? I remembered listening to this piece of music for a String Orchestra from a Classical Music CD that included all of Schubert’s famous pieces, back when I was a 7th Grader in Middle School. This is the well-known “Standchen (Serenade)” by Franz Schubert. You’ve Asked For It U/Oboejdub, So Here It Is!!! I’ve been waiting for so long to host this Community Project. Are y'all ready to play another beautiful and simple piece of music?
